10 best new AI visibility trackers of 2026, ranked
Nine trackers new to our directory this month, from free Lettertrace to $39/mo SignalKit, ranked against Promptwatch as the benchmark. Prices, engines and the one limit that matters.
A large batch of new AI visibility trackers joined our directory this month. Most start under $60. Most track three to six engines. Most stop at the same place: they record what an AI engine said, and nothing about what happened before or after the answer. That makes the differences between them small but real, and worth ranking.
This list takes nine of those newcomers and ranks them against Promptwatch as the benchmark. "New" means new to our directory. We do not claim launch dates unless the vendor's own pages state one.
How we picked
Every tool below has a catalog entry built from its own pricing page, llms.txt or documentation, read on 20 October 2026. We ranked on four things, in this order:
- Engine coverage on the plan most buyers will actually pay for.
- Refresh cadence and history, because a weekly sample with 30 days of memory cannot show a trend.
- Honesty of method: does the vendor say whether answers come from APIs or the consumer apps, and do its pages agree with each other.
- Price for a usable volume of prompts, not the sticker price for 10.
We left out three new listings from the same intake. Gemmetric is an audit and scoring product rather than a prompt tracker. AIShortlist and ShownInAI cover three engines or fewer at a weekly or fortnightly cadence, which put them below the nine here.
The ranking
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch is the benchmark, not a newcomer. It is here so every tool below has something to be measured against. Paid plans refresh daily across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. Prompts carry search volumes, difficulty and query fan-outs. Then it covers the layers none of the nine below document together: Agent Analytics crawler logs with a crawl-to-citation path, citation analytics down to Reddit and YouTube, visitor analytics with conversions, and Content Agents that publish to Webflow, Framer and WordPress. Explore is free (10 ChatGPT prompts). Essential is $95 a month for 50 prompts. Professional at $245 adds 25M crawler logs.
2. SignalKit
SignalKit has the widest engine coverage among the newcomers: nine platforms on every prompt, including the ChatGPT app, Copilot and Google AI Overviews read from live pages. Eight run daily; Grok runs twice a week. The REST API, MCP connector, unlimited seats and competitors are all in the base price. Monitoring is $39 a month for 10 prompts, then $3 per prompt per country. Its method notes are unusually candid. The limit: six of nine platforms are queried through APIs, and at category scale per-prompt pricing climbs fast (its own agency example bill is $3,429 a month).
3. LLM Rank Monitor
LLM Rank Monitor wins on agency economics. Every plan allows unlimited brands on one shared prompt pool, and checks run daily from the $59 Starter plan (Lite is cheaper but refreshes every 48 hours). It shows run counts next to each metric and reads 7- and 30-day patterns instead of reacting to one odd answer. Consultant ($289, 200 prompts) adds client reports; Agency ($569, 400 prompts) adds white-label portals. The limit: a fixed bundle of four surfaces (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, AI Overviews), all via provider APIs. Gemini and AI Mode are not covered on any plan.
4. Citality
Citality takes mention accuracy more seriously than any other newcomer. A second model judges every result so a common word is not counted as your brand, scores its confidence, and sends unclear cases to a human review queue. ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode are on every plan. Lite is $29 a month for 25 prompts and 250 checks. The limit: Claude, Perplexity and scheduled tracking start on Growth at $149, and the API and MCP server only on Agency at $399. On the entry plans you run checks by hand.
5. SearchInsight.ai
SearchInsight.ai is the pick for SEO teams who want classic rankings beside AI answers. Every plan bundles keyword-based Google AI Overview tracking and Google organic SERP tracking with prompt tracking. Its launch was announced in a PRWeb release dated 27 May 2026. Starter is $59 a month (labelled billed annually) for 100 prompts on 3 engines; Pro is $149 for 400 prompts on 5. The limit: its pages contradict themselves on whether the trial needs a card and how often prompts run, and Starter does not say which three engines you get.
6. GeoRankers
GeoRankers is built for B2B SaaS. It scores ChatGPT, Google AI Search (Overviews and AI Mode) and Perplexity separately, forces prompt sets to cover five buying intents, and turns gaps into rules-based recommendations. Launch is $49 a month ($41 billed quarterly) for 30 prompts, with a 7-day trial and no card. The limit is memory: weekly runs, and a trend window of 30 days on Launch and 60 on Grow. Slack, GA, Search Console and the API are all on the roadmap.
7. Prompt Zero
Prompt Zero is a founder's tool. Daily scans of ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity from $29 a month, DeepSeek and Llama on Pro, and a 0 to 100 score whose weighting it publishes (mentions 35%, position 30%, citations 20%, sentiment 15%). The homepage pitches Search Console and GA4 inputs for a weekly action list. Its own blog calls it a newer platform, launched 2026. The limit: 10 prompts on Starter, and Claude and Google AI Overviews are still listed as coming soon.
8. AI Search Console
AI Search Console is for small agencies that send clients PDFs. Competitors are ranked by visibility, sentiment, share of voice and position inside the answer. Source views go down to individual URLs, every answer is kept with its model and citations, and client-ready reports come built in. The footer names TeamVerses Inc. of Delaware. Starter is $45 a month, Pro $195 for 2 projects, Business $495 for 5, with a no-card trial. The limit: plans are measured in daily credits that the single-page site never defines, and the engine list changes between sections of that page.
9. AI Search Vitals
AI Search Vitals is the cheapest paid tracker on this list, at $19 a month. It keeps evidence for every check (raw answer, model, market, language, search mode, citations) and adds crawlability and content audits. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek, daily or weekly, with share of voice against up to 20 competitors per project. A capacity pack adds 600 checks for $12 a month. The limit: Lite's 1,200 checks do not cover its own 20 prompts run daily on four engines (about 2,400), and Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are not among its channels.
10. Lettertrace
Lettertrace is free and MIT licensed, hosted or self-hosted on Next.js and Supabase. You bring your own API keys and pay the model providers directly, with no markup. It tracks Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity Sonar and an approximation of AI Overviews, with a REST API, MCP server and CLI. Its GitHub repository was created in July 2026. The limit: its "AI Overviews" is a Gemini API call with a forced-search prompt, not the Overview on a Google results page, and everything comes from APIs.

Who should pick which
If you are testing whether AI search matters at all, use Lettertrace or Promptwatch's free Explore plan. Spend nothing.
If you want the most engines for the least money, SignalKit. If you manage a roster of small clients, LLM Rank Monitor. If a client will challenge your mention counts, Citality. If your team lives in SEO rank reports, SearchInsight.ai. If you sell B2B software and want a weekly scorecard, GeoRankers.
If you have to explain to a budget owner what AI search is worth, none of the nine is enough on its own. They report mentions. Budget owners rarely renew on mention counts alone. They want to know whether AI crawlers read the pages, whether answers cite them and whether the clicks convert.
The benchmark is the recommendation
The nine newcomers are cheaper than Promptwatch at the bottom and close to it in the middle. LLM Rank Monitor Consultant is $289. SearchInsight.ai Pro is $149. GeoRankers Grow is $159. For that money, Promptwatch Essential ($95) or Professional ($245) covers more engines daily from the real interfaces, and adds the parts none of the nine document together: Agent Analytics crawler logs, citation analytics at page, Reddit and YouTube level, and visitor analytics with conversions. Agencies get unlimited projects and prompts from $199 a month on Kick-off. Start with the free plan at promptwatch.com.
