10 best AI visibility tools for the French market (2026)
Ten AI visibility tools that measure answers for France, ranked on engines, cadence and French-language support. French trackers from €15/mo, with Promptwatch at #1 for crawler logs.
An English prompt run from a US server tells you little about what ChatGPT says to a buyer in Lyon. The answer changes with the language of the question and the country the engine thinks you are in. The cited sources change too: French press, French directories, French Wikipedia. A team targeting France needs a tool that can ask in French and measure from France, or at least set those two things per prompt.
France also has its own crop of trackers, most of them small, euro-priced and built by French agencies or founders. This board ranks them, plus the international platforms that cover France properly, for teams that sell into the French market.
How we picked
Catalog data and vendor pages read on 20 October 2026. Promptwatch facts come from promptwatch.com/llms.txt. A tool made the list only if its catalog entry shows French-language measurement, a France market setting, or a French product built for French buyers. We ranked on four things: engines covered, refresh cadence, how the answers are collected, and what the tool does beyond counting mentions. Prices keep the vendor's currency and VAT basis.
The ranking
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch covers more of the chain for a French program than any other tool on this list. Country-level tracking is on every plan, and Professional adds state and city tracking for teams that sell regionally. Prompts run daily with real UI monitoring across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral and Copilot, plus Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. Agent Analytics logs AI crawlers on your site; visitor analytics ties AI visits to conversions. Essential is $95 a month and Professional, which adds crawler logs, is $245. Prices are also available in EUR. The limit: the free Explore plan is ChatGPT only.
2. GEO Monitor
GEO Monitor is the most complete French-built tracker here. It runs prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and Google AI Overview in your market's language and country, and says it uses the engines' real interfaces. You see the full answer, the searches ChatGPT launched to build it (query fan-out), cited domains and exact pages, ChatGPT ads, and shopping and local results. Search Console and GA4 connect on every plan. Découverte is €69 a month for 30 prompts a day on 3 engines; Essentiel at €149 adds all 5 engines and unlimited brands. The limit: history caps at six months and the vendor is a one-person micro-enterprise.
3. Hikoo
Hikoo is a French GEO platform, founded in February 2026 and incubated at Campus Founders, that focuses on doing the work. It audits pages the way AI engines read them, suggests content, finds cited sources and contacts them through an outreach agent, then ties gains to actions in reports. An MCP server comes with every plan, and it can act on data from other trackers, Promptwatch included. There is a free plan; Monitoring is €69 a month per site excl. VAT, Growth €179, Agent €499. The limit: Monitoring covers only ChatGPT and Gemini, and the nine-engine Agent plan costs €499 per site.
4. Meteoria
Meteoria is a Saint-Mandé SAS selling a daily dashboard with visibility rate, relative position, cited sources and sentiment. You choose prompts by product, persona and location. Seats, countries, projects and brands are unlimited on every plan, and Google Analytics and Matomo connect from Starter. Starter is 75 EUR a month including tax for 25 daily prompts; Pro is 175 EUR for 100. Advanced at 420 EUR adds AI log analysis and Looker Studio. The limit: every plan caps you at three engines, and its terms describe API querying and sampling rather than capture from the product interfaces.
5. Atyla
Atyla pairs a low entry price with free seats. Essential is 19 EUR a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini, weekly. Starter at 69 EUR moves to daily scans and adds Perplexity, alerts and recommendations. Growth at 149 EUR covers seven models including Claude, Grok, Mistral and DeepSeek. Countries and languages are unlimited on every tier, users are unlimited, and every plan includes a page audit. The 7-day trial needs no card. The limit: Google AI Overviews and AI Mode are not on any plan, and competitor tracking caps at five.
6. Qwairy
Qwairy is a French GEO suite that publishes 240+ countries, 45+ content languages and 10+ engines on every paid plan, including Mistral. Modules cover prompt tracking, citation sources, sentiment, a content studio and site diagnostics, with GSC and Bing Webmaster connectors. Starter is €79 a month (€65 annual) for 100 prompts and 1,300 credits. The limit: it is credit-metered, analyses pause when credits hit zero, Claude, Mistral and DeepSeek are API samples, and crawler analytics waits for Business at €449.
7. Cockpyt AI
Cockpyt AI is weekly by design. It queries ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity through official APIs with no account or history, so scans compare cleanly week to week. Every paid plan gets all six modules, including a monthly GEO audit with a 33-point checklist and hallucination detection that flags what engines say about your prices or services that your site contradicts. Solo is 29 EUR a month excl. tax for 15 questions; the 14-day trial needs no card. Data is hosted in Europe. The limit: three engines, weekly cadence, and no Google AI Overviews, AI Mode or Claude.
8. CiteLyzer
CiteLyzer is Polish, but France is one of its 17 measurement countries and French one of its 7 prompt languages, set per brand. It saves full answers daily from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, and labels each mention as recommended with conviction, mentioned without endorsement, or advised against. Mini is €15 a month excl. VAT; Standard at €39 adds unlimited brands with 50 shared prompts; Pro at €129 adds Perplexity. The limit: no Claude, Copilot or Grok, no API, no trial, and business customers only.
9. Otrak
Otrak is built by the French SEO and GEO agency Premiere.Page. It runs prompts weekly on OpenAI GPT-5 with web search, Gemini 2.5 and Perplexity Sonar, with a France market filter, sentiment out of 100, cited sources and a Google Analytics connector. Plans are €19, €89 and €149 a month excl. VAT for 10, 50 or 100 weekly prompts, plus Stripe fees of 1.5% + €0.25. The limit: three API models, five competitors, and copy that contradicts itself on cadence and on Claude.
10. Citeme
Citeme is a Paris GEO agency with its own dashboard, listing ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok. The platform alone is 59 € a month (590 € a year); team plans with GEO content, Reddit work and digital PR run from 690 € to 2,590 € a month excl. VAT. A beacon script logs bot visits from 18+ named bots including GPTBot and ClaudeBot. The limit: the 59 € platform publishes no prompt cap, response cap or seat count, and its plan sheets disagree with each other.

Who should pick which
Want a French tracker with the most data per euro? GEO Monitor. Need fixes and outreach, not more charts? Hikoo. A whole marketing department in the tool? Meteoria, for unlimited seats. Smallest budget with daily data? CiteLyzer at €15 or Atyla once you reach its daily Starter plan. A stable weekly score with hallucination checks? Cockpyt. Selling in several countries at once? Qwairy. Rather pay humans to do it? Citeme.
One note for Belgian brands: Veesie measures in French per question, but its markets are Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, not France, so it is not ranked here.
Why Promptwatch is #1
Most of these tools answer the same question well: does ChatGPT name us in French this week? Few of them answer the next ones. Which page did the answer cite? Did the AI crawler read our new page before the answer changed? Did the visitor who clicked through buy anything?
Promptwatch Professional answers all three for $245 a month. Citation analytics shows the cited page, domain, Reddit thread and YouTube video, with citation trends over time. Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler with the crawl-to-citation path. Visitor analytics ties AI-referred sessions to conversions. Country tracking puts France on every plan, and state and city tracking on Professional lets you split one region from the rest of the country. Content Agents then publish the page that closes the gap to Webflow, Framer or WordPress.
Start with a French tracker if you only need a weekly mention count. Run the program on Promptwatch when you need to prove what it earns: promptwatch.com.
