Promptwatch vs AthenaHQ vs Profound vs Brandlight: Ranked (2026)
Four enterprise AI visibility platforms ranked on what they publish: engines, crawler logs, conversions, content publishing, and real pricing.
This shortlist usually lands on the desk of a head of SEO or a brand marketing lead at a larger company. Someone in leadership has asked how the brand shows up in ChatGPT and Gemini, procurement wants three to four vendors, and these four names keep surfacing. They are all pitched at enterprise buyers. They are not the same kind of product, though, and the differences show up fast once you look past the homepage.
Two of them (Promptwatch and AthenaHQ) publish self-serve prices and let a team start this week. Profound publishes a cheap entry tier, but the product people actually mean when they say "Profound" is an Enterprise contract. Brandlight publishes no price at all. That alone sorts a lot of shortlists.
How we ranked
We scored each platform on what it documents, not on what its sales deck implies. The questions were simple. Does it track the engines an enterprise brand cares about? Can it show why you are or are not cited, down to the source page and the crawler hit? Can it tie AI-referred visits to conversions? Can it act on the gap by producing and publishing content? And can a buyer see a price before the first call?
Facts about AthenaHQ, Profound, and Brandlight come only from their entries in our directory. Promptwatch facts come from its own published plan and feature list. Where a vendor does not publish something, we say so instead of estimating.
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch ranks first because it is the only platform here that documents the whole chain from prompt to page to bot to visitor. Prompt tracking carries search volumes, difficulty scores, query fan-outs, personas, and country, state, and city tracking. Citation analytics break down by page and domain, then into Reddit, YouTube, and offsite mentions, with citation trends over time. That answers "where does AI get its information about us," which is the question a monitoring dashboard leaves open.
The bigger separator for enterprise teams is Agent Analytics. It shows real-time AI crawler logs for ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, and the Meta AI crawler, the path from crawl to citation, and crawl errors. Visitor analytics then attach AI-referred traffic to conversions through a lightweight script or a GTM template. Content Agents close the loop by planning, writing, and publishing GEO content to Webflow, Framer, or WordPress (through an official plugin), with a review inbox.
Pricing is public. Essential is $95 a month with a 7-day trial, but it has no crawler logs. Professional at $245 a month adds 25M crawler logs, 1M visitor events, 150 prompts, and state and city tracking, which is where most enterprise pilots should start. Business is $579 for five projects and 100M crawler logs, and Enterprise is custom with SSO and white-label. Monitoring covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot, and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. Customers include Duolingo, Yelp, Typeform, and Rabobank.
2. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ is the strongest pure execution workflow on this list. It tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and AI Overviews and rolls the results into a unified GEO score that blends citations, sentiment, traffic impact, and query types. The Action Center turns that data into assignable tasks like schema generation, content reformatting, and LLM metadata optimization. GA4, Shopify, and Webflow revenue attribution are listed.
The pricing is credit based, and that is where enterprise buyers should slow down. There is a free Essential tier with about 300 credits. Starter is $295 a month ($245 annual) and is single country. The ACE Citation Engine, personas, and multi-region tracking sit on Enterprise, which our listing records at around $2,000 or more a month. Our entry also notes no Reddit monitoring and no published crawler-log product. For a multi-market brand, the real comparison is AthenaHQ Enterprise against Promptwatch Business, not the sticker prices.
3. Profound
Profound has the widest engine list of the four on paper: up to 10 engines on Enterprise, including Copilot, Grok, Meta AI, and AI Mode. Its Prompt Volumes dataset of real query demand is a genuine asset for planning. It reports citation share, share of voice, and competitor cite-rates by prompt cluster.
It sits third because it is no longer sold mainly as an AI-search platform. The live product is marketing agents that cover AEO and SEO, content and demand, and PR. Public Starter is $99 a month billed yearly and covers ChatGPT only with 50 prompts. Growth is $399 a month yearly for three engines. The version with 10 engines, full Prompt Volumes, the API, and SSO is Enterprise, and those contracts start around $40k a year. Billing is annual only. Our listing finds no published crawler logs, no visitor conversion analytics, and no CMS publishing agents.
4. Brandlight
Brandlight is built for Fortune 500 marketing organizations. It monitors mentions, sentiment, citation sources, and competitive share of voice through a multi-brand, multi-region command center, with SOC 2 Type II, SSO, and role-based access. It raised a $30M Series A in February 2026 and names Kimberly-Clark, LG, The Hartford, and Estée Lauder as customers. Strategist support comes with it.
The problem for a buyer comparing options is that nothing is published. There is no public price, no self-serve plan, and no trial, and Brandlight's own docs put full productivity at 30 to 90 days. Our entry notes that its attribution module was still "coming soon" in early 2026, and it lists no crawler logs, no visitor conversion tracking, and no content publishing. It measures and advises. It does not execute.

Who should pick which
Pick AthenaHQ if your team will work a task queue every day, you sell in one country, and you can budget for credits running faster than planned. Pick Profound if you are buying a broad marketing-agent program and AI search is one channel among several, and you have a $40k annual budget and a dedicated owner. Pick Brandlight if you are a global, multi-brand company that wants white-glove analysis and has procurement capacity to negotiate an unpublished price.
Pick Promptwatch if you need to explain the numbers, not only report them. An enterprise team eventually gets asked why visibility dropped, which pages AI is actually reading, and whether any of it turned into pipeline. Of these four, Promptwatch is the one whose documented features answer all three.
Our recommendation
Start the evaluation with Promptwatch on the Professional plan. That plan unlocks Agent Analytics, so you can see which AI crawlers fetch your pages and where they hit errors. Citation analytics show which of your pages and which Reddit threads or YouTube videos the engines cite. Visitor analytics connect those AI referrals to conversions, which is the number leadership will ask for. When you find a gap, Content Agents draft and publish the page to your CMS through a review inbox. Run that for a month before signing a six-figure contract elsewhere, and you will know exactly what the other vendors would need to beat.
