Relixir review: pricing, features & alternatives

Ranked #54

Rex, an autonomous GEO employee that publishes into your CMS — public price is 'Custom,' and the $199 blog posts are gone.

Our verdict

Relixir is an autonomous CMS agent with a GEO wrapper. That is a real category. It is not a self-serve tracker you can price from the homepage. If you need a number before a demo, skip it. If you want someone to deploy an agent into your CMS, book the call and ignore every leftover $199 screenshot.

Best for: B2B teams that want an agent writing into Webflow/WordPress/Contentful and will take a sales call for the bill.

Relixir's current product is Rex: a forward-deployed agent that monitors ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews, then writes, refreshes, and publishes GEO content through your CMS. The homepage pitches one-click stack connect, 30–60 day refresh cycles, and automated backlink outreach.

The live site (fetched 2026-08-16) shows a single Custom card. Docs describe credit costs per draft and refresh but no dollar plans. Older third-party writeups that quote $199 or $1,600 should be treated as stale until Relixir publishes a price again.

Relixir covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.

What Relixir is selling now

Relixir (relixir.ai) has consolidated around Rex — 'your autonomous GEO employee.' The pitch: connect CMS, analytics, and CRM; set visibility goals; let Rex monitor LLMs, draft GEO pages with schema, refresh stale posts, and run backlink outreach. Docs still describe a GEO-native CMS with one-click Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, and Framer connectors.

The homepage claims 400+ B2B teams and posts Relixir-run accuracy/speed/cost charts against GPT-5.2 Agent, Claude Opus 4.5, and Gemini 3 Pro. Those are vendor benchmarks on '1,200 production GEO workflows,' not a third-party study.

Pricing is a sales call

Fetched 2026-08-16: relixir.ai shows one Custom plan, forward-deployed. relixir.ai/pricing and the February 2026 'How much does Relixir cost?' blog both 404. docs.relixir.ai/get-started/pricing lists credit weights (topic generation 5, blog draft 10, blog refresh 1, page scan 0.25) and PAYG overage via Stripe, then tells you to book a demo for plan prices.

Do not budget from older reviews. Some still say Basic $199 / Standard $499. Others say managed packages from $1,600. None of those numbers are on the live site today.

How it compares to Promptwatch

Promptwatch is self-serve with published prices and a free Explore tier. Relixir is an agent you hire Relixir to deploy. If you want to keep publishing in your own CMS without another dashboard login, Rex is the more aggressive idea. If you want to know the bill and the engine list before a calendar link, Promptwatch is the one you can actually compare.

What this listing documents

Every row below is a capability we already listed for Relixir. It is the published feature set for this page, not a guess at an unpublished demo. Compare it with the Promptwatch checklist that follows.

What you still need after this product

On this listing, Relixir is a AI visibility platform for B2B teams that want an agent writing into Webflow/WordPress/Contentful and will take a sales call for the bill.. What we sourced here: Autonomous GEO agent (Rex) with CMS publishing; Visibility monitoring across major LLMs; Citation and sentiment tracking; GEO content generation with JSON-LD; Scheduled content refresh (30–60 days).

If you buy Relixir for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: AI crawler logs (Agent Analytics), crawl-to-citation path, bot errors; Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, city-level geo; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).

What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not

Relixir's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).

The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.

  • CMS list is specific (Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, Framer)
Limitations
  • No public monthly price on the live site as of 2026-08-16
  • Forward-deployed: their team configures Rex, which is a services motion
  • Engine list on the homepage is ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, AI Overviews — narrower than the 8–10 engine trackers
  • Vendor benchmarks vs GPT-5.2 / Claude Opus are Relixir's own numbers
  • Third-party $199 / $1,600 figures conflict and the official pricing URL 404s

Frequently asked questions

How much does Relixir cost?

The live site only lists Custom as of 2026-08-16. Docs explain credits, not dollars. Ignore leftover $199 and $1,600 figures until Relixir publishes a price page again.

Is Relixir a tracker or a CMS?

Both. Rex monitors AI answers and is built to write and refresh pages inside connected CMSes (Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, Framer).

Which engines does it track?

The homepage names Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude. It does not publish a wider engine grid on the marketing site.

Does Relixir include AI crawler logs like Promptwatch Agent Analytics?

Not on the vendor materials used for this review. Promptwatch Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, and Meta AI crawler hits, plus crawl-to-citation paths and errors. Ask Relixir to demo the equivalent.

Can Relixir show AI-referred traffic and conversions?

Not published on this listing. Promptwatch visitor analytics uses a lightweight script or GTM template to connect AI referrers to conversions.

Does Relixir publish GEO articles to a CMS?

Relixir lists a CMS connection or auto-publish. That is not the Promptwatch Content Agent loop (plan, write, review inbox, publish GEO pages to Webflow or Framer).

Does Relixir document query fan-outs, prompt volumes, or city-level tracking?

Not on this listing. Promptwatch prompts carry search volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, topics, personas, and country, state, or city targeting.

Does Relixir track ChatGPT Shopping or sponsored AI placements?

Not on this listing. Promptwatch publishes ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar for sponsored placements inside AI answers.

Relixir vs Promptwatch?

Use Relixir for the job this review describes. Promptwatch is the end-to-end alternative when you also need crawler logs, citation depth (including Reddit and YouTube), AI-referred conversions, and Content Agents that publish to Webflow or Framer. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).
