How ViRank works
ViRank is a product of ViVortis B.V., with Zac Bathi named as founder. A plugin connects your WordPress site. ViRank tracks Google positions daily, asks AI assistants a set of market questions weekly, and ranks opportunities with a Money Score built from search volume, position, competition and your own GA4 conversions.
Then it acts. Autopilot applies meta titles, schema, internal links and alt texts on WordPress and WooCommerce after you approve them. A snapshot is taken before each change, and each can be rolled back on its own. Content arrives as drafts unless you switch on auto-publishing. It runs next to Yoast or Rank Math.
Plans, excl. VAT: ViRank at 199 EUR a month (1,791 EUR a year, effectively 149 a month) gives 1 site, 250 keywords daily, 100 AI questions a month, 300 Autopilot fixes and 50 drafts. Unlimited at 399 EUR (3,591 EUR a year) lifts every cap under fair use. Both plans have every feature.
The AI side is inconsistent. The pricing page lists ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and Gemini. The homepage says 20 market questions a week on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. The homepage also claims ViRank is the only Dutch software that measures whether AI recommends you, which is not the case. Its published results (for example +112% organic traffic for Terras Totaal Concept) come from ViVortis agency work, measured in clients' GA4 and Search Console, not from the software alone.
How WP SEO AI works
WP SEO AI was founded in 2023 and sells a managed search program built on its own WordPress plugin. Three agents cover SEO, GEO and Google Ads, and every customer gets a dedicated customer success manager. The plugin researches topics, builds topical maps, writes and publishes inside WordPress, audits and keeps optimizing live pages.
For AI search it tracks brand mentions on six surfaces, logs AI crawler visits by bot type (indexing, browsing, web search) for OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Anthropic, Meta, Brave and others, and runs query fan-out analysis. GA4 conversions are reported by channel, including an AI assistants channel.
The commercial terms are the hurdle. No published price, a questionnaire and call first, a 12-month minimum paid yearly, a separate start-up investment, one package per domain, and no trial. The pages we read publish no prompt allowance or check frequency. The vendor says it serves more than 2,500 companies across 8 European countries.
Who should pick which
Pick ViRank if you want to stay in control, approve each change and leave any month. The rollback design is careful, and the 14-day trial costs nothing. Confirm the engine list for your plan.
Pick WP SEO AI if you want someone else to run SEO, AI visibility and Google Ads, and you can commit for a year. It also lists AI crawler tracking, which ViRank does not.
