Promptwatch vs Goodie AI vs Writesonic GEO vs AirOps: 2026 Comparison

Content-side GEO tools vs Promptwatch: Goodie AI page grades, Writesonic's writer-plus-tracker, AirOps workflows, and who actually measures AI answers.

Three of these products start from content. One starts from whether ChatGPT named you, then writes. Goodie AI grades pages for extractability. Writesonic GEO sells articles plus a visibility signal. AirOps is a workflow builder. Promptwatch is the visibility platform with Content Agents on the side.

Google's AI features guidance is still how Overviews treat links. A writer does not replace that, and it does not log Perplexity.

Different center of gravity

Goodie AI: ambitious commerce GEO, three engines at $399

Goodie's pitch is closed-loop for DTC: grade the page, fix extractability, attribute, even watch Amazon Rufus and Walmart Sparky. Explorer is $399/mo: 3 engines, 100 prompts / 3,000 responses, 10 optimization actions, 3 seats. Pro (quote) adds Gemini, Copilot, Rufus, 250 prompts. Enterprise (quote) is 11 engines including Claude, AI Mode, Meta AI, DeepSeek, Grok.

Enterprise logos in our catalog include Unilever, Dermalogica, SteelSeries. Independent reviews are scarce; much of the glowing coverage traces to the founder's agency. No crawler logs, no Reddit/YouTube citation split, no prompt-volume dataset. $399 for three engines is a steep monitoring bill if you already needed a tracker.

Writesonic GEO: writer that put on a GEO hat

Starter $79/mo annual ($99 monthly): 15 AI articles, 50 tracked prompts, 3 engines. Basic $199 annual. Growth $399 annual. Enterprise unlocks Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Grok, AI Mode, and the Action Center.

GEO data is shallow: you appeared, not why, not which page earned the footnote. Recurring billing complaints on Trustpilot and Reddit (charges after cancelling, denied refunds) are the worst reputation in this four-way. Buy with a virtual card if you buy at all.

AirOps: actually programmable, hostile metering

AirOps is a real workflow orchestrator: brand kits, human-in-the-loop, CMS publishing. Free/Solo is limited, ChatGPT-only visibility, monthly refresh. Growth is about $200/mo. Scale is about $2,000/mo, a 10x cliff. Task metering can turn articles into $40 to $70 line items. Overage protection exists but ships off. 54 of 111 G2 reviews in our catalog cite learning difficulty. Powerful for operators who will live in the builder. Hazardous as a "GEO tool" you glance at twice a month.

Promptwatch: measure first, then generate

Content Agents plan, write, and publish AEO articles (5/mo on Essential, 15 on Professional, 30 on Business) after the prompt, citation, crawl, and visit layers. That order is the point. Goodie can still sit beside it as a page grader. Writesonic can still sit beside it as a raw article mill if you accept three-engine tracking. AirOps can still sit beside it if you need heavy workflow code. None of them is the mention-and-crawl log.

Who should pick which

  • Goodie if extractability edits and (later) Rufus/Sparky are the brief, and $399 for three engines is acceptable.
  • Writesonic if you want a quota of AI articles and will not trust it as the citation system of record.
  • AirOps if a workflow builder is the buy, and someone will police tasks.
  • Promptwatch if AI answers, crawlers, and traffic are the job, with writing attached.
