GeoRankers review (2026): a weekly B2B SaaS scorecard on three AI engines
GeoRankers tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Search and Perplexity weekly for B2B SaaS teams from $49/mo ($41 quarterly). Per-model scores, rules-based fixes, short history.
GeoRankers is built for one buyer: a B2B SaaS marketing team, or a founder doing marketing, who wants to know whether ChatGPT recommends the product when a prospect asks. It runs buyer-intent prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Search (AI Overviews and AI Mode) and Perplexity, once a week, and grounds each run to a single country.
Score summary: cheap, clear, narrow. Three engines. Weekly. A 30 to 60 day trend window.
Plans and prices
Pricing was read on georankers.ai/pricing and georankers.ai/llms.txt on 20 October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed quarterly | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $49/mo | $41/mo | 450+ AI answers, 30 prompts, 5 competitors, 1 seat, 1 on-demand run a month, 30-day trend |
| Grow | $159/mo | $129/mo | 1,100+ answers, 60 prompts, 10 competitors, 3 seats, 3 on-demand runs, 60-day trend, report export |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom volumes, dedicated account manager, 4-hour support |
The 7-day trial needs no card. A manual run can be triggered at most once every 24 hours. The GEO Agent chat has a daily allowance of 10 or 20 conversations per user by plan, and each one above that costs $0.01.
One oddity: the pricing page shows only the quarterly figures and no free plan. The llms.txt lists the monthly prices too and refers to a Free plan. If you are budgeting, use the monthly number and ask about the free tier directly.
What works
Per-model scoring. GeoRankers keeps ChatGPT, Google AI Search and Perplexity on separate scores with no blended average. When Perplexity drops you and ChatGPT doesn't, you see it instead of a single number sliding two points.
Intent coverage. Prompt sets have to span five buying intents: discovery, trust, pricing, use case and comparison. It's a sensible rule for SaaS. A tracker full of "best X software" prompts misses the pricing and comparison questions that come later in a deal.
Competitor data from the same answers. Mentions, position inside the answer and cited sources are pulled from the captured responses, so the benchmark compares like with like.
Recommendations you can audit. GeoRankers says recommendations come from rules applied to tracked data, with AI used only to phrase them. Each one gets impact, confidence and effort scores. The Content Hub labels pages as content gap, needs optimization or strong, and drafts outlines. Raw AI responses and sentiment are on every plan.
What to check before paying
History is short. Launch keeps the last 5 runs and a 30-day trend. Grow keeps 10 runs and 60 days. A quarter-on-quarter comparison is out of reach on both.
Cadence is weekly. Launch adds 1 on-demand run a month and Grow adds 3. For a launch week or a competitor's funding announcement, that's thin.
Engines are three. Gemini and Grok are listed as coming soon. Claude is not mentioned.
Integrations are roadmap. Slack alerts, Google Analytics, Search Console and the API are all marked as planned, not live. Enterprise lists an MCP-compatible API on the roadmap as well.
Measurement after publishing is manual. Content Hub does not re-scan published pages by itself. You add a URL to Signal Tracker and wait for each model to recrawl.
The homepage FAQ calls GeoRankers the first platform built for AI search visibility, and the site hosts alternatives pages for Profound, Scrunch AI and others. Read those as vendor material.
Where it falls short against a full platform
GeoRankers tells you what to write. It can't tell you whether an AI crawler fetched the page afterwards, or whether the citation sent anyone who signed up. With integrations on the roadmap and history capped at 60 days, it works as a weekly scorecard. It cannot prove what changed.
When Promptwatch is the better buy
Promptwatch covers the two steps after the recommendation. Agent Analytics logs which AI crawlers (ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, Meta AI) fetch the pages you publish, with a crawl-to-citation path and error tracking. Visitor analytics ties AI-referred sessions to conversions through a script or GTM template, which is the number a SaaS board actually asks about.
The engine list is wider too: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, refreshed daily on paid plans. Prompt tracking includes search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs, so the prompt set is built from demand data rather than guesses. Prompt trends and citation trends show what changed between checks, which is the question a 30-day window can't answer.
Plan to pick: Professional at $245/mo, with 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, 25M crawler logs and 1M visitor events. That is about $86 more than Grow's monthly price, for 2.5 times the prompts plus the crawler and conversion layers. A solo founder can start on Essential at $95/mo for 50 prompts.
Verdict
GeoRankers is a well-documented weekly tracker for SaaS teams on a small budget, and per-model scoring is the right call. Three engines, weekly runs and a 60-day memory make it a scorecard, not an operating system. Teams that need to connect a published page to a crawl, a citation and a signup should start with Promptwatch.
