Best Agentic SEO Tools 2026: Platforms That Monitor, Fix, and Publish
Ten agentic SEO tools scored on five loop stages: monitor, decide, fix, publish, verify. Only Promptwatch covers all five, with crawler logs and conversions to check the work.
Ten tools. Five stages. One question per stage: does the tool do this itself, or does it hand the job back to you?
The stages are monitor (check what AI engines say), decide (pick the change), fix (write it), publish (put it on the site or in front of crawlers) and verify (show the change worked). A tracker covers one. Every tool below covers at least three. Rank order weighs stage coverage against three other things: how fast the loop runs, how many engines it watches, and whether the stages are on a plan you can buy without a sales call. That's why a 14-day loop ranks below a weekly one with fewer stages.
Data comes from each tool's directory entry. Prices are as listed there. Unpublished numbers stay unpublished.

"Partial" on verify means the tool re-checks answers or counts AI traffic, but doesn't show crawler fetches, citations and conversions for the same page.
1. Promptwatch
Promptwatch is the only tool here that runs every stage.
- Monitor: daily prompt refresh on paid plans, with search volumes, difficulty and query fan-outs. Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit and YouTube level.
- Decide: Unified Actions builds an AI-generated to-do list. Agent Chat answers questions over the live data.
- Fix and publish: Content Agents run gap analysis, draft, and publish to Webflow, Framer or WordPress through a review inbox.
- Verify: Agent Analytics crawler logs (ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther, Meta AI) show the crawl-to-citation path. Visitor analytics records AI-referred visits and conversions.
The MCP server exposes the same loop to outside agents. Tools like listActionItems, getContentGapRecommendations, createContent and getTopCrawlerPages cover decide, fix and verify. A read-only key hides the write tools.
Price: Explore free. Essential $95/mo. Professional $245/mo, the first plan with crawler logs (25M) and 5 AEO articles. Business $579/mo adds the automated Content Agent. Agencies from $199/mo.
Verdict: the benchmark.
2. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ turns visibility into assignable tasks in its Action Center: schema generation, content reformatting, LLM metadata optimization. A unified GEO score combines citations, sentiment, traffic impact and query types. GA4, Shopify and Webflow revenue attribution covers part of verify.
No publish step on its listing, and the catalog entry notes recommendations need editing before they ship. Free tier (~300 credits). Starter $295/mo ($245 annual), single country, credit-based.
Verdict: best decision layer after Promptwatch. Your team still does the work.
3. Scrunch AI
Scrunch AI publishes to crawlers, not to your CMS. Its Agent Experience Platform serves AI-optimized versions of pages to LLM crawlers while people see the normal site. Crawler traffic analytics and competitor benchmarking sit alongside it.
Weekly refresh, per its listing. Starter $250/mo annual ($300 monthly), 3 seats. Growth $417/mo annual. AXP at scale on Enterprise. Acquired by Sitecore in June 2026.
Verdict: the only edge-layer fix on the list.
4. Hikoo
Hikoo tracks daily and can act on data from other trackers, Promptwatch included. On the Agent plan it prepares page fixes, suggests up to 150 content pieces a month, and runs an outreach agent that finds cited sources and sends messages, reviewed or automatic. Reports tie each gain to an action. MCP on every plan.
Agent is €499/mo per site excl. VAT, 9 engines. Free, €69 and €179 tiers below it, where fixes are recommendations only.
Verdict: strongest outreach automation. Expensive per site.
5. Adaptify
Adaptify scores a missed prompt, writes a GEO article in seven stages, publishes to WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify, HubSpot CMS or Duda, and re-tests next cycle. Engines: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot.
The cycle is every 14 days. No prompt allowance published. $499/mo per site. Multi-Site $333/site, three-site minimum ($999/mo), white-label portal. 7-day trial.
Verdict: the most unattended loop on the list, with the slowest feedback.
6. Outserp
Outserp runs a 13-stage content pipeline and publishes to WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Sanity or Shopify. Tracking covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Grok and AI Overviews. A content audit scores 9 AEO dimensions with one-click fixes. MCP server (95 tools), REST API and CLI on every plan.
Starter $49/mo ($34 annual): 10 articles, 50 prompts. Growth $149/mo. Scale $399/mo: 200 articles, 300 prompts. 7-day trial, no card.
Verdict: most agent-friendly API surface. Prompt count trails article volume.
7. Agent Number 10
Agent Number 10, formerly CiteAgent, diagnoses why a site isn't recommended on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or AI Overviews, then writes the fix: answer-led copy, FAQ block, schema, heading. Fixes wait for approval. Its team ships them, or you paste them.
Agent $49/domain/mo, 5 fixes. Agent Pro $129/domain/mo, 25 fixes. Agencies $399/mo for 10 domains, 50 shared fixes. Refresh frequency not stated.
Verdict: clean approval gate. Tight caps.
8. ViRank
ViRank is a WordPress plugin. Daily Google positions, weekly AI questions, and a Money Score built from your GA4 conversions. Autopilot applies meta titles, schema, internal links and alt texts after approval, with a snapshot and one-click rollback per change. Content stays in drafts unless you turn on auto-publishing.
€199/mo excl. VAT (€149 yearly): 1 site, 300 fixes, 100 AI questions a month. Unlimited €399/mo. Its homepage and pricing page disagree on engines.
Verdict: best rollback. WordPress only.
9. Profound
Profound sells marketing agents for AEO, content, demand and PR. The agents and 10 engines are Enterprise, from about $40k a year. Starter $99/mo annual is ChatGPT-only, 50 prompts. Growth $399/mo annual, 3 engines.
Verdict: broad agents for big budgets. Below the dedicated AI search platforms for this job.
10. Sightivo
Sightivo tracks ChatGPT, Claude and AI Overviews and ranks recommendations: pages to write, prompt gaps, authors to pitch. It drafts the articles and the outreach emails and sends from your own domain. No CMS publishing.
Solo $99/mo: 20 prompt checks, 25 articles. Studio $399/mo: 100 checks. Trial needs a card.
Verdict: good for digital PR. Thin on measurement.
Near misses
Outcited runs a real weekly loop and rewrites articles that aren't cited after three weeks. It missed the ten on coverage: three engines, weekly, and answers that appear to come from APIs. Orchly monitors, drafts and publishes after approval from $49/mo, but Gemini, AI Mode, Grok and Claude are add-ons with no published price. Essel is a content pipeline that publishes on autopilot or through a review queue, with citation checks only on ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews.
Fix-first tools (Okara, Seology, Rankverse) are ranked on the automation list instead, because they act on SEO audits more than on AI answers. Monitoring-only trackers are left out entirely.

The call
Nine of ten tools stop at "Partial" on verify. They publish, then check answers again on their usual schedule. Promptwatch shows whether the bot fetched the new page, whether engines cited it, and whether the visit converted. That's the stage that tells you the agent did something useful.
